This festive sensory activity works well for kids who are sensitive to typical sensory activities such as slime, dough, or ice.

What you'll need: Ziplock Bags, Shaving Cream, Markers, Tape. Optional:
Glitter, Food Coloring
Step One
First you'll need to gather these 4 supplies. You'll likely have some if not all of the supplies at home already! I was able to purchase these items for $4 at the dollar store.

Step Two
On a Ziploc bag, you and your child can design a snowman scene with markers. Sharpie markers work best, but any colored markers will work. Here is my example:

Step Three
For step three, put your decorated bag inside of another Ziploc bag. This will prevent the sharpie or other marker ink from bleeding onto your child's hands when they manipulate the bag.

Step Four
After double bagging, add in the shaving cream "Snow"! Add as much or as little as your child would like, while taking care not to overfill the bag. At this time you can also add glitter or food coloring to the Snow.

Step Five
Tape off the top of the bags to prevent any snow or glitter from leaking out when they're being used. You can also tape the bag to the table to help your child manipulate it safely without shaking or opening the bag.

Step Six
Enjoy! Try creating different designs and using different size bags!
